Born in Rome in 1974, Federico Benetti studied piano. He graduated with full marks in singing at the Conservatorio D.Cimarosa in Avellino in 2004 under the guidance of M° Carlo Desideri.

1997-2003: various participations as pianist in theatre performances staged by the theatre Stanze Segrete, Rome, and for the theatre company Il carro dell’Orsa. Intense teaching activity and activity as conductor of several choirs.

2001: he composed and performed live the music for several theatre shows produced by the Laboratorio Teatrale Integrato Piero Gabrielli, Rome.

2003-2004: concerts at the Bassiano Musicfestival (Latina).

2004: April-March: soloist in Mozart’s Requiem (KV626) and Vesperae Solemnes de Confessore (KV339) in the Basilica of St. Alessio, Rome conducted by M° C. Del Prato.

2005: Pergolesi’s La Serva Padrona (Uberto) with the Roma Ensemble within the Giornate Musicali.

2006: Pergolesi’s La Serva Padrona (Uberto); Colas in Bastian und Bastienne (Rome); Black Bob/Tom in The Little Sweep by Benjamin Britten. directed by Stefania Rinaldi (Teatro San Carlo / Auditorium RAI di Napoli) .

2007: Masetto - Don Giovanni and Basilio - Barbiere di Siviglia; he has done his debut in Traviata (Teramo).

2008: Traviata - Ravenna; Bohème – Florence; Rosenkavalier - Roma.

2009: Traviata – Messina; Rigoletto and La vedova allegra – Genova.

2010: Fanciulla del West - Torre del Lago.
