CARLO PALLESCHI Conductor

Born in Terni, he started to compose music very early when he was just seven years old, even before the beginning of his musical studies. After graduating in Piano at G. Briccialdi in Terni, he continued his studies in various Conservatories such as S. Cecilia in Rome, L. Cherubini in Florence, F. Morlacchi in Perugia and obtained Degrees in Composition, Conducting, Choral music and Choir Conducting. Up to date holds a teaching position at F. Morlacchi Conservatory. His career as conductor took off with his performance in Spoleto of Un Ballo in maschera of Verdi, obtaining great public success and positive reviews from the critics. Later Carlo Palleschi
was invited to conduct orchestras from all different parts of the world

National Philharmonic, Slovak Philarmonie of Bratislava, Bern Festival

He has conducted in Arena of Verona, Comunale of Firenze, Sferisterio of Macerata, Carlo Felice of Genova, Bellini of Catania, Festival Pucciniano of Torre del lago, Festival of Spoleto, Politeama of Greco di Lecce, Teatro Verdi of Trieste, Tokyo Bunkakaikan Theater, Ontario Opera of Hamilton, New Israeli Opera House of Tel Aviv, Arena of Avenches, Gran Castle in Bellinzona, Pala Congressi Theatre of Genev in Switzerland, Metropolitan Opera House in Seoul and National Theater of Korea. He also has conducted the First National representation of Falstaff and I Puritani in Korea. Carlo Palleschi has
conducted in some prestigious Concert Halls of the world as the Carnegie
Hall of New York, the Philharmonie and the Shauspielhaus in Berlin, the
Seoul Art Center Concert Hall, theBig Hall of Tchaikovsky Conservatory
in Moscow, the Philarmonie in München, the Alte Oper and the
Jharehundert Halle of Frankfurt, the Salle Erasme of Strasburg,the
Theater of Bellas Artes in Mexico City etc. In the year 2000 he was appointed as Artistic and Music Director of the Symphonic Orchestra of Tito Schipa Foundation of Lecce (Italy). In 2001 he became Artistic Director of the Festival Lirica in Piazza of the City of Massa Marittima. In 2004 he was appointed Artistic Director of Tradition Theatre Politeama Greco in Lecce. He has conducted eminent opera singers such as L. Pavarotti, K.Ricciarelli, L. Nucci, G. Dimitrova, G. Casolla, R. Kabaiwanska, L. Bartolini, R. Bruson, J. Cura, M.Devia, R. Raimondi, C. Guelfi, S. Bonfadelli, A. Mastromarino, N. Fantini, C. Colombara, G. Scalchi, W. Matteuzzi, P. Cappuccilli, L. Alva, N. Martinucci, D. Voight, B. Ford etc.. He has also worked with soloists such as I. Oistrakh, P. B. Skoda, A. DeLarrocha, J.Achucharro, R. Filippini, A. Ciccolini, H. Schellenberger, R. Cappello, M. Damerini, G. Carmignola, E.Dindo, M. Zanini, S.Pedroni, A. Adorjan, M. Ursuleasa, C. Rossi, R. Rizzi, O. Kern, A. Nei man etc.
In 2002, he conducted Il Barbiere di Siviglia which was recorded live. He also conducted Il Corsaro of Verdi which was recorded live by Raisat for Worldvision. His repertories include all symphonic repertories and more than 40 operas: Aida, La Traviata, Rigoletto, Il Trovatore, Il Corsaro, Macbeth, Requiem, Otello, I due Foscari, Un Ballo in Maschera, Simon Boccanegra, Nabucco, Falstaff, Tosca, Turandot, Suor Angelica, Manon Lescaut, Gianni Schichi, Tabarro, La Boheme, Le Villi, Madama Butterfly, Adriana Lecouvreur, Carmen, Sansone et Dalila, Andrea Chenièr, L’Elisir d’amore Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Tancredi, Il viaggio a Reims, L'Italiana in Algeri, Le nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, Cosi fan tutte, Cavalleria Rusticana, Puritani, Sonnambula, Lucia di Lammermore, Werther, Fedora, Rita etc. For the first
anniversary of the World Cup 2002 - Korea and Japan he conducted
Turandot of Puccini at the World Cup Stadium in Seoul in
co-production with Teatro Comunale of Florence, State's Opera of Peizing
