Born in Montréal, Canada, Annamaria Popescu studied at the McGill University, at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia and at the Atelier Lyrique de l’Opéra de Montréal. She trainees with Janine Reiss in France, James Vaughan in Milan and Michael McMahon in Canada to work on the repertoire.
