
Born in Viterbo, Federica Proietti has won the Mario del Monaco Competition in Marsala and has made her debut as Azucena in Il Trovatore and as Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana.
Operatic debuts and activity:
1996: First Prize at the Spoleto Competition with debut in Falstaff.

She has performed several times Amneris in Aida under the direction of Franco Zeffirelli and the role of Principessa di Bouillon in Adriana Lecouvrer.
She was Federica in Luisa Miller at the Teatro Massimo of Palermo, Romeo e Giulietta by Berlioz and Andrea Chénier (Madelon). She performed Roberto Devereux(Sara) in Pamplona and Verdi´s Requiem in Parma, Nice and Sophia.
She made her debut in Frankfurt singing Rossini´s Petite Messe Solemnelle, she was Pauline in Pikovaja Dama and Melibea in Il Viaggio a Reims.
She has been in Rome for Verdi´s Requiem, for Rigoletto (Maddalena) and for Cenerentola and moreover for Cavalleria Rusticana in Macau, Trovatore (Azucena) in Spoleto; again Requiem in Ginevra and Madama Butterfly in Graz.
She has sung with Zubin Metha, Antonio Pappano, Daniel Oren, D. Renzetti, B. Campanella, Jeffrey Tate and with directors such as Franco Zeffirelli, Ronconi and P.L. Pizzi.
