Born in Vidin, Bulgaria. Gabriela Georgieva graduated at the State Academy of Music Pancho Vladigerov in Sofia and at the Bulgarian Academy of Art and Culture Boris Christoff  in Rome, Italy. From 2000 to 2005 she studied with Gena Dimitrova.

1999: Interpretation Course with Peter Dvorsky in the Czech Republik and a Master Class with Caroline Dumas in France

2000/1: Master Class with Kaludi Kaludow

2003/4: Master Class with the conductor Paul Weigold

2006: Master Class with Anna Tomova Sintova

1997: Awarded at the Second Academic Competition Zlatev – Cherkin in Sofia

1998: Second Prize at the 16th National Singing Competition Svetoslav Obretenov, Bulgaria

2001: Second Prize at the Third National Competition Christo Brambarov in Sofia

2003: First Prize at the First National Competition of the International Music Festival Laureates Days Katya Popova in Pleven, Bulgaria

2004: Second Prize at the 13th International Competition for Young Opera Singers Boris Christoff
