Marily Santoro studied singing with Liliana Marzano and she graduated from the Conservatorio
F. Cilea in Reggio Calabria. At present she is studying with the tenor Antonello
Palombi in Pisa and with Raina Kabaivanska in Modena.
She had masterclasses with Renato Bruson at Accademia Chigiana in Siena, Bruna Baglioni,
Giovanna Casolla, Mariella Devia.
In 2016: she debuted the role of Turandot performing it in several Italian theatres
in a tournée organized by AsLiCo./Teatro Sociale di Como. During the summer she attended
the masterclass of Raina Kabaivanska at Accademia Chigiana and she continue studying
with her in Modena. In December she is going to perform Turandot with the National
Opera and Ballet in Sofia.
In 2015: she took part to a concert with Daniela Dessì and Marco Armiliato in Brescia;
in October she debuted the role of Violetta in La traviata at Teatro Goldoni in Livorno.
In 2014: in Livorno she debuted the role of Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni in the "Mozart
Project" for young singers; in Reggio Calabria she debuted Verdi's Requiem during
the Festival of Sacred Music; she took part to the Scuola dell'Opera Italiana at
Teatro Comunale in Bologna and she did the role of Violetta in La traviata.
In 2013 she took part to a concert at Teatro Rendano in Cosenza and to the opera
Parisina by Mascagni on the occasion of Mascagni celebrations.
