Paolo Ingrasciotta

Baritone

Paolo Ingrasciotta, young artist of Accademia di Perfezionamento del Teatro alla Scala, first price at Competition Giacinto Prandelli, best emerging baritone voice at Gran Prix dell’opera at Regio di Parma and winner, in 2013, of Toti Dal Monte International Competition, began to study singing at an early age and had masterclasses with the soprano G. Brienza and then at Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello di Venezia.


In 2013 he attended the Accademia at Rossini Opera Festival di Pesaro, debuting as Trombonok in Viaggio a Reims

In 2016/17 and 2017/18 attended the Accademia della Scala di Milano, taking part in Scala to production like Cenerentola (Don Magnifico), Don Carlo directed by P. Stein and conducted by Maestro Chung, Hänsel und Gretel (Peter) conducted by H. J. Albrecht and directed by S. E. Bechtolf and Il barbiere di Siviglia (Figaro/Don Bartolo). 

In collaboration with the Accademia della Scala he debuted Guglielmo in Così fan tutte at Teatro Carlo Felice in Genova directed by E. Scola and conducted by J. Webb. In 2017/18 he debuted Slook in La cambiale di matrimonio at Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza conducted by G.B. Rigon and directed by M. Gandini.  

During the season 2018/19 at La Scala in Milano he debuted the title role in Cherubini's Ali Babà conducted by P. Carignani and directed by L. Cavani and Ford in Falstaff with “Opera Lombardia”. 

Among the roles of his repertoire: Belcore in L’elisir d’amore (Opera Pocket - AsLiCo), Malatesta in Don Pasquale (Brescia), Dandini in La Cenerentola (Venezia and Treviso), Max in Betly (Bergamo Musica Festival), Schaunard in La Bohème (Aslico e Reggio Emilia, directed by L. Muscato and conducted by G.P. Bisanti), Carmina Burana (Piccolo Festival del Friuli Venezia Giulia), Procolo in Le convenienze ed inconvenienze teatrali (directed by P. E. Rousseau and conducted by F. Trinca at Teatro Comunale  in Treviso), Colas in Bastiano e Bastiana (Imola), Germano in La Scala di Seta (co-production of Teatro La Fenice/Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello), Gioco del vento e della luna by L. Mosca, first world premiere (Venezia e Treviso), Pepito by Offenbach (Orchestra da camera Milano Classica in Milano), Gaudenzio in Il signor bruschino (Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, directed by B. Morassi and conducted by G. Rigon), San Giuseppe da Copertino in the first world premiere of Il ritorno dei Chironomidi by G. Mancuso (Teatro Malibran iun Venezia, directed by F. Bellotto), Petite Messe Solenelle (Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza), Demetryus in Midsummer night's dream (Opera Lombardia).
