Born in Rome, he graduated at "L. D’Annunzio" Conservatory in Pescara.

 

In 1986 he made his debut as Malatesta in Don Pasquale; thereafter he sang in the most important italian theatres such as Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Opera Theatre - Rome, San Carlo - Napoli, La Fenice - Venezia, La Scala - Milano, Comunale - Bologna Regio - Torino etc.

 

He performed roles such as: Belcore - Elisir d’amore; Don Alfonso - Così fan tutte; Don Carissimo - Dirindina. He performed Schaunard several times (once in Milan, three times in Venice etc); The Baron or Marquis - Traviata in Napoli and Venice (recorded and filmed); Silvano - Un ballo in maschera etc.

 

In 1994 he was in the cast of Benvenuto Cellini for the inauguration of Theatre of Opera in Roma. Also to be mentioned are Fedora and La fanciulla del west in Milan and Parsifal in Naples. Abroad he was Malatesta next to William Matteuzzi and Sylvia Greenberg, in Don Pasquale, conducted by M° Roberto Abbado for the Bayerischer Rundfunk Orchester.

He performed various concerts with RAI and the Orchestras of the main European Radios, singing perfectly in French and German.
