Born in Trieste in 2003, Italian soprano Caterina Trevisan graduated in Vocal Studies in 2026 from the “G. Tartini” Conservatory in Trieste, where she studied with Cinzia De Mola.

Her passion for theatre began in 2012, when she started studying both singing and acting at the Politeama Rossetti Theatre in Trieste. Alongside her studies, she has collaborated with several musical institutions in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, performing both classical and sacred repertoire as a soloist.

In May 2023, she made her operatic debut as the First Witch in Dido and Aeneas at the Teatro G. Verdi in Muggia. Later that year, she debuted at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste as the First Spirit in Die Zauberflöte, conducted by Beatrice Venezi.

In 2024, she reached the final of the 19th Giuseppe Di Stefano International Opera Competition, performing the role of the First Lady in Die Zauberflöte. The same year, she was awarded the Scholarship for the Most Promising Young Soprano at the 51st Toti Dal Monte International Singing Competition, subsequently making her debut as the First Lady in Die Zauberflöte at the Teatro Giuseppe Di Stefano in Trapani under the baton of Alfredo Stillo.

In 2026, she made her major role debut as Mimì in La bohème at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, conducted by Donato Renzetti, marking a significant milestone in her artistic development and confirming her as one of the most promising young Italian lyric sopranos of her generation.
