Stefano Meo, born in 1977, gifted by an impressive stage presence, appreciated for his vocal flexibility and great extension of his dramatic voice characterized by a dark timbre.
Awarded as Best Emerging Baritone at International Competition Mario Lanza, his career began with important debuts like Trovatore (Conte di Luna), La traviata (Giorgio Germont), Tosca (Scarpia), Tabarro (Michele), Gianni Schicchi, Cavalleria rusticana (Alfio), Pagliacci (Tonio).
Season 2016/17 engagements include concert in Kiel, Rigoletto in Parma and Trieste, Les pêcheurs de perles (Zurga) in Trieste and in Muscat, I vespri siciliani (Guy de Montfort) in Gut Immling, Aida (Amonasro) with Sferisterio Opera Festival in Macerata and in November 2017 at Teatro Comunale in Bologna.
During the season 2017/18: Guillaume Tell in Kiel, Il trovatore (Conte di Luna) in Trieste, Gianni Schicchi in Udine, Traviata (Germont) at Teatro San Carlo in Naples.
Season 2018/19: Cavalleria (Alfio) and Pagliacci (Tonio) in Kiel, Nabucco and Madama Butterfly (Sharpless), Rigoletto in April/May 2019 with Deutsche Oper in Berlin and with Opéra de Massy, Aida in Kiel, Pagliacci in Sassari, Cavalleria and Pagliacci in Bologna.
In 2020: Traviata in Metz, Pagliacci in Reggio Emilia and Trieste.
In 2021 and 2022: Fidelio (Don Pizarro) in Metz; Madama Butterfly (Sharpless) in Kiel; Rigolettoand Pagliacci (Tonio) in Trieste; La traviata with Immling Festspiele; Aida in Kiel; Andrea Chénier (Gérard) in Bologna.
He recorded the first complete Mozart’s Masonic Music Collection for the Phoenix Recording House, first world complete recordings of the Mozart’s Masonic Music.
